Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ Jesus,

  •  Moses said, “Because of your obedience, the Lord your God will keep His part of the contract which, in His tender love, He made with your fathers. Deuteronomy 7:12 (TLB)

  • Do not intermingle with the nations that are left among you nor speak the names of their gods when you take an oath. And by all means don’t worship or pray to them. . . . cling tightly to Yahweh, for he is your God.Joshua 23:7-8 (TPT)

  • . . .I said that I would never break my covenant with you, if you, on your part, would make no peace treaties with the people living in this land; I told you to destroy their heathen altars. Why have you not obeyed? And now since you have broken the contract, it is no longer in effect, Judges 2:1-3 (TLB)

  • . . . I say to you, love your enemy, bless the one who curses you, do something wonderful for the one who hates you, and respond to the very ones who persecute you by praying for them. . . . How are you any different from others if you limit your kindness only to your friends? Don’t even the ungodly do that?Matthew 5:44,47 (TPT)

  • So above all, constantly seek God’s kingdom and his righteousness, then all these less important things will be given to you abundantly.Matthew 6:33 (TPT)

  • I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have [perfect] peace and In the world you have tribulation and trials and distress and frustrations; but be of good cheer [take courage; be confident, certain, undaunted]! For I have overcome the world. (I have deprived it of power to harm you and have conquered it for you.]John 16:33 (AMPC)

If we keep our eyes on YESHUA/JESUS – the last Adam – the Overcomer, the One Who YHWH (with inserted vowels YAHWEH transliterated JEHOVAH commonly interpreted the LORD) sent as the sample Son, we too are victorious because we are “in Christ”. However, the fact that the Living Word said, “in this world you will have trouble” (John 16:33 [NIV]) necessarily means that the things of the LORD in the way of God aren’t automatic; it’s via quality time with Him and “facetime” in God’s Word. Howbeit Satan and his cohorts (as well as those manipulated thereof whether wittingly or unwittingly) constantly fight to keep God’s Word from being rooted in the fertile soil of the heart – the reborn spirit. In relation to the societal experience of the writer, this fight has resulted in a lock-out of God’s Word via removal of the Holy Bible from use within its public schools. As a man-of-God succinctly stated it: “the plan (of the enemy) is to remove the foundation of the Bible from the laws of the land”. Further, the writer has witnessed this same kind of fight against God’s Word even within aspects of social media. More specifically, from non-believers voicing their disdain via comments as well as scammers who either warn of the impending deletion of my page or requesting “confirmation” of the page’s authenticity; such fraudulent attempts are recognizable because the company makes a significant amount of money re “boosts”. (The bottom line is that we neither argue nor patty-cake with the devil and his cohorts because the blood of Jesus placed such under-foot.) Also, are the believers who refuse to acknowledge any aspect of God in social media under the deceived notion that God doesn’t “belong” therein, but deception is of the devil. The truth is that the LORD wants “in” on every aspect of life via every available voice. Yet, the LORD God comes by our own invitation because He works along with us. Consequently, a believer’s inclination to restrain the LORD from any aspect of their own life is akin to forsaking God; not vice versa. For God said: “I’ll never let you down, never walk off and leave you, Hebrews 13:6 (MSG).

God’s Word is the Sword of the redeemed, “the sword of the SpiritEphesians 6:17 (NIV). God’s Word is “a lamp unto our feet, a light unto our pathway” (Psalm 119:105).  The Word of God gave instructions to the set-apart ones before the birth of Christ Jesus (BC) as to the behavior God expected of them as partakers of the Old Testament – The Covenant or Contract between them and the LORD God. Similarly, after the birth of Jesus the Christ (AD), God’s Word gives instruction to the set-apart ones who are the ingrafted branch (refer to Matthew 28:19; Romans 11; Galatians 3:7-9; 1Pe 2:9; Revelation 7:9) as to the behavior God expects as partakers of the New Testament – The Covenant or Contract between us and the LORD God ratified by the sinless blood of Jesus. In other words, there is a clear difference between the behavior of the godly and the behavior of the un-godly to which the man-made or worldly subgroupings of race, ethnicity, class, caste, etcetera are irrelevant because the difference between the godly and the ungodly pertains to a re-created or regenerated or reborn spirit. Upon the death and Resurrection and Ascension of Christ Jesus, the Ministry of the Holy Spirit returned to earth; He gives clarity as to our walk along the “narrow” way. For though the spirit is instantaneously reborn via repentance and belief and confession (refer to Romans 10:9-13; Acts 2:38), the soul (i.e., intellect, will, emotions) requires ongoing renewal of the mind in the Word of God; and revelation of the information in God’s Word is through the Teaching of the Holy Spirit for its comprehension and its application. The Word made flesh – Jesus the Anointed One and His Anointing only did and spoke as He saw and heard of the Father (refer to John 1:14 & 5:19 & 8:26b,28,38b & 12:49-50 & 14:10,24b); and those reconciled unto the Family of God by the redemptive work of Christ Jesus are to mimic Him (refer to Ephesians 5:1).

Speak the promise . . . Harriet
