1. . . Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are Mine.

6. . . Bring My sons from afar and My daughters from the ends of the earth.

25 I, even I am He who blots out your transgressions, for My own sake, and remembers your sins no more.”  Isaiah 43:1, 6, 25

15 The Holy Spirit also testifies to us about this. First He says: 16 This is the covenant I will make with them after that time, says the LORD. I will put my laws in their hearts, and I will write them on their minds.  17 Then He adds: ‘Their sins and lawless acts I will remember no more.Hebrews 10:15-17

The adversary sends a plethora of postcards reminding of past sins or transgressions which are violations against the way of the LORD God because guilt blocks the manifestations of God’s promises bought and brought by the obliterating blood of Jesus.

  • guilt – to be responsible for wrongdoing or an offense
  • repent – to experience sorrow and seek change

Repentance (which includes change from whatsoever is contrary to the way of GOD) expunges pass wrong behavior. The LORD God sent His only begotten Son Whose redemptive work obliterated the sins of humankind which entered by the offence of the first Adam (Romans 5:17).

  • expunge – to erase or remove completely
  • obliterate – to blot out, wipe out, or utterly destroy

Sin-consciousness, however, is an altogether different matter. The LORD says, “Review the past for Me, let us argue the matter together; state the case for your innocence” (Isaiah 43:26). Therefore, regardless of the postcards sent by the devil to remind of past ungodly behavior, the redeemed of the LORD say/affirm every good thing about themselves: I’m forgiven, I’m delivered, I’m blessed, etc. For “there is now no condemnation for those in Christ Jesus” (Romans 8:1-2). Further, we may affirm/speak like the Apostle Paul: “I’ve done no wrong” because there’s a new or re-created spirit in those reconciled by the obliterating Blood.
