Dear Sisters and Brothers in Jesus the Christ,

Proverbs 2:6 and James 1:5 says, the LORD God desires to give us wisdom, and encourages seeking it as if for treasure/precious metal. Are you confused about something? Pray Colossians 1:9 – ask to be filled with the full knowledge of God’s Will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, as well as discernment of spiritual things. The amplified bible defines “full” as deepness and clarity; and “wisdom” as insightful comprehension into the ways and purposes of God. We know from Isaiah 55:8-9, that God’s thoughts and ways are higher than ours. Yet it is written, we have the mind of Christ (1Co 2:16b), and the wisdom of God is being formed within us. “Have” is indicative of a right-now thing while “being formed” is reflective of ongoing development. Therefore, sons and daughters of He Who is Sovereign move toward ever increasing wisdom until the second coming when we are instantaneously changed into His very essence (1Co 15:49-52). The Most High God, Creator of Heaven and earth knows all about you. The evil one attempts to plant thoughts (i.e., doubt, fear) because he can only access what you give over. The Sovereign Who created you, knows your every thought. If you’re concerned about a thing, ask/seek God’s face. If you’ve been mulling over a thing the Spirit will help you; the Lord will perfect that which concerns you (Psalm 138:8).

Apostle Paul said that by grace (undeserved favor), Abba Father qualifies us and makes us fit to share a portion of the inheritance of the saints/Believers in the Light Who is Jesus. That is, Abba Father calls or draws us out of the world – the control and dominion of darkness, and into the kingdom of Christ Jesus (read: Colossians 1:9-23 AMP). Hence, God the Father can only be approached through God the Son – Christ Jesus, to Whom we are drawn by the Sovereign. We may be deeply concerned about others whose thought, word, and deed reflects being caught in the snare of the evil one. Yet we cannot drag ‘em into salvation. As N.T. Anderson stated, we are only called to catch the fish; “God is perfectly capable of cleaning His own fish” (see CKMusing131). We can pray, however, as there is no title or special gifting required for a Prayer of Supplication to be heard. Christ Jesus was/is The Great Intercessor and, as His Body, Believers intercede to make certain of liberty through prayer. That is, in giving oneself over to time in prayer, sons and daughters of God become yielded vessels through whom the Spirit of God is invited to move. Therefore, standing in the gap via prayer affords the opportunity for others to recover from the snare of the evil one (see CKMusing140 for Copeland’s Prayer of Intercession). The Word says, God the Father draws us to God the Son through Whom humankind is redeemed and reconciled by The Blood of the perfect Lamb of God. In Jesus’ Name, may there be an ever increasing hedge so that more citizens may be birthed into the Kingdom of Light to the glory of God. Amen.
