Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ Jesus,

And I will walk among you, and will be your God, and ye shall be my people.Leviticus 26:12 (KJV)

and they shall be my people, and I will be their God:Jeremiah 32:38 (KJV)

My tabernacle also shall be with them: yea, I will be their God, and they shall be my people.Ezekiel 37:27 (KJV)

The Scripture above, being from the Old Testament, is referring to the Israelites who are the original branch chosen by God of the line of Noah’s son – Shem. More specifically, God “called” Abram who He renamed Abraham whose blessing went to Isaac whose blessing eventually manifested to Jacob renamed Israel. Ah, but the blood of Jesus the Anointed One and His Anointing was shed for all mankind. Therefore, those who Acts 2:21 and Romans 10:9 are redeemed, re-birthed, and reconciled into the Family of God; those not of the original branch are the grafted branch (see Romans 11:16-23). Our Lord Jesus is the Vine and in Him we are the branches (see John 15:5). We being in God and sealed with His Spirit, Who is the beginning sign of the inherited blessing (see Ephesians 1:13-14), necessarily means that God is with us in everything that we do. That means if you are entering into dens of iniquity, He is not waiting outside for you to come out. Sealed means just that . . . where you go He is right there with you.

This day, because of or by the blood of Jesus, the result of repentance is to be made sorry in a godly manner such that nothing be loss (see 2 Corinthians 7:9b). We are comprised of spirit, mind (soul), and body (flesh). The spirit of those who are in Christ Jesus was re-created or reborn in an instant, the mind (soul) was not and must be renewed to this newness of life by the WORD of God. (Don’t rely on spoon feeding once a week; rather, read the WORD and meditate it to receive revelation knowledge by the teachings of the Holy Spirit. In other words, make daily reading your buffet and corporate learning the dessert.) The body (flesh) is the tent or housing of the spirit; no spirit can operate in the natural realm sans a body . . . when the spirit moves on, the body (flesh) falls back to the dust if the earth. Though it may seem like it, the flesh has no power of its own; if allowed, it simply yields to the influences surrounding it day after day. The re-created or reborn spirit and the (continually) renewed mind must bring the body into subjection (see 1 Corinthians 9:24-27) because the body (flesh) wants what it wants when it wants it.

The enemy of God will attempt to put thoughts in the mind about what the body “needs”. Only God knows your every thought; the enemy comes to steal the seed of the WORD (see Mark 4:14-20), and plant his own thoughts which are always contrary to the Way of God. Therefore, surround the flesh with the things of God in the Way of God. Be cognizant of the fact that allowing whatsoever into the eye-gate and/or the ear-gate will impact accordingly. Immerse oneself in the WORD of God; read at least one chapter every day. As it is written, righteousness has nothing in common with lawlessness (see 2 Corinthians 6:14-16). Believers are Ambassadors of Christ Who is the Light of the world; and the very nature of light necessarily transforms darkness. Of course, neither you nor I are the transformers; God in us does the work. I will be a Father to you, And you shall be My sons and daughters, Says the LORD Almighty2 Corinthians 6:18 (NKJV). And I am glad about it!

Speak the promise . . . Harriet
