Faith AND Agape. “Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not” 1 John 3:2 (KJV). The Sovereign LORD God Almighty commands those rendered His sons and daughters by the blood of Jesus (John 1:12) to walk/operate by faith which is powered by divine love (Galatians 5:6). As it is written, those rendered sons and daughters of the Most High God have been given the measure of faith (Romans 12:3); and God’s kind of love has been poured into our hearts by the Holy Spirit (Romans 5:5). Knowing who you are and Whose you are in Christ Jesus through continual renewal of the mind by the teachings of the Holy Spirit facilitates the ability to remain steadfast in the way of Abba Father. Both the desire and power to “do” in the way of God come from Him (Philippians 2:13).

Comprehension AND Application. “That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God” 1 Corinthians 2:5 (KJV). The spirit of division is of the enemy of God who is well aware that a house divided cannot stand. Remaining steadfast in the way of God isn’t synonymous with being a doormat. Neither is free-will synonymous with debating or voting about God’s will; the LORD God who is Omnipresent, Omnipotent, and Omniscient has no need of an “advisory” board. Steadfastness in the way of God by the power bestowed by the finished work of Christ Jesus anchors from being tossed to and from by every fad and fancy contrary to the way of God. Revelation of the information in the WORD of God is by the teaching of the Holy Spirit; and applying or doing in the way of God is by Christ Jesus’ anointing (Philippians 4:13).
