Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ Jesus,

“28)  After this, Jesus, knowing that all things were now accomplished, that the Scripture might be fulfilled, said, ‘I thirst!’ 29)  Now a vessel full of sour wine was sitting there, and they filled a sponge with sour wine, put it on hyssop, and put it to His mouth. 30)  So when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, ‘It is finished!’ And bowing His head He gave up His spirit.”                     John 19:28-30 (NKJV)

JESUS said, “it is finished” and released His spirit, for His life couldn’t be taken from Him. Rather, JESUS would lay down His life (John 10:15) that He would take it up again (John 10:17) in accordance with the plan of the Sovereign LORD God Almighty. In so doing, Jesus the Anointed One would enter into Hell from which, after three days, God the Father raised Him up by the power of His mighty Spirit and seated Him at His right hand (Ephesians 1:19-20). “21 Far above all rule and authority and power and dominion and every name that is named [above every title that can be conferred], not only in this age and in this world, but also in the age and the world which are to come. 22 And He has put all things under His feet and has appointed Him the universal and supreme Head of the church [a headship exercised throughout the church]” Ephesians 1:21-22 (AMP); Psalm 8:6. The mystery of GOD’s plan toward returning man’s original state of glory (forfeited via free-will exercised contrary to the will of GOD by the trickery of the thief who comes to “steal, kill, and destroy”) has been revealed in Christ Jesus. Hence, the dance of the fullness of life, replete with streams of living water flowing from within, was enabled because JESUS has been glorified resulting in a full grown man seated at the right hand of God the Father; and so too those of us who are in Him (Ephesians 2:6). Hallelujah! Satan can only attempt to put thoughts into the minds of those who allow such and/or who neither bind nor rebuke him with the authority bestowed the Name above all names (Luke 10:19; Mark 16:17), and given unto all rendered sons & daughters of God the Father by the blood of Jesus. Therefore, because Satan has absolutely no knowledge as to that which is in the mind of man, he was clueless as to the mystery of God’s plan that would be revealed in Christ Jesus (Romans 16:25); for had this fallen angel known, Satan wouldn’t have instigated that which would be made known as The Passion of The Christ (1 Corinthians 2:7-8). Imagine the surprise when Satan and his cohorts thought they had succeeded, only to have JESUS walk into that raucous red-light party. As it is written, He who ascended first descended to take back the keys of death and Hades; and preached therein (Ephesians 4:9; Revelation 1:18; 1Pe 3:18-22). To think on the faith of JESUS in that place; the fullness of His confidence that the plan of God the Father would prevail; that He would be glorified having walked in perfect obedience to the will of Abba Father for the benefit of man, to the honor and praise and glory of GOD. (And) even now, advocating against the “accuser of the brethren” on behalf of all redeemed and reconciled unto the Family of GOD by the blood of Jesus the Anointed One. Such bespeaks the width, length, height, and depth of the love of our Lord Jesus.
