Dear Sisters and Brothers in Jesus the Christ,

“17)  Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.  18) Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.” James 1:17-18 (KJV)

“ 17) Every good gift and every perfect (free, large, full) gift is from above; it comes down from the Father of all [that gives] light, in [the shining of] Whom there can be no variation [rising or setting] or shadow cast by His turning [as in an eclipse].  18) And it was of His own [free] will that He gave us birth [as sons] by [His] Word of Truth, so that we should be a kind of firstfruits of His creatures [a sample of what He created to be consecrated to Himself].” James 1:17-18 (AMP)

GOD – the Father of Light is from Whom every good and perfect gift is bestowed; He seeded the life Who gave light (John 1:4,9 & 12:46); by Whom all who confess “Jesus is Lord” and believe that God raised Him from the dead are saved and made light (Romans 10:9, Matthew 5:14); through Whom all are drawn to the Father, rescued out of the kingdom of darkness, and made citizens of God’s Kingdom of Light (John 6:44 & 14:6, Colossians 1:13); that we might be walking epistles of light (2Co 2:14-16, Acts 23:47). It is by the blood of Jesus, that we may have the one-to-one or personal relationship with God the Father as He has always desired because the veil that kept us at a distance due to sin was torn from top to bottom (Matthew 27:51, Mark 15:38). Christ Jesus consecration (Hebrews 7:28 & 10:20) allows those in Him to have a closer walk with God the Father and, in Jesus’ name, ask anything in keeping with God’s will because His Blood obliterated the sin that required a “middle man” (Isaiah 53:5, 1Pe 2:24). This is why the New Testament/Covenant ratified by the blood of Jesus is better.

In the Old Testament/Covenant, God spoke to man (i.e., male, female) through the Prophets because though He desired to speak directly to the called out ones as a “kingdom of priests and a holy nation” Exodus 19:6 (NIV), they desired that someone stand between them and God, and relay what doth sayeth the LORD (Exodus 20:18-19). Similarly, later they would desire a king; that they might be like the other nations (1 Samuel 8:4-7). Nevertheless, every word from the mouth of GOD accomplishes everything for which it is sent (Isaiah 45:23 & 55:11). Therefore, the plan of the Sovereign Lord God Almighty remained as He: (a) has spoken to us through Christ Jesus – the “author & finisher” of our faith (Hebrews 12:2) and “Revealer & Mediator” of God’s will (1 Th 5:18b [AMP]), which is in His Word; and (b) redeemed, re-birthed, reconciled and restored us by the blood of Jesus the Anointed One and His Anointing. Hence, by the grace and the Blood, the Branch of the LORD (Isaiah 4:2, Jeremiah 23:5 & 33:15, Zechariah 3:8, John 15:1-5), both original and grafted (Romans 11:11-24) have become “a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God” 1 Peter 2:9 (NIV). Yea, “God’s Kingdom and his priests” Revelation 5:10 (NLT).
