Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ Jesus,

“2) And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that read it.  3) For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.” Habakkuk 2:2-3 (KJVER)

During the last year of formal Biblical Studies, development of a Vision Statement was required (as well as development of the Mission, Strategy, and Core Values) but such is of man. God the Father relays vision directly via the Holy Spirit, and He is talking to us all the time. Of course, the thief who only comes to steal and kill and destroy (John 10:10) whispers to subvert or sabotage. However, through the ongoing renewal of the mind (Romans 12:2; Ephesians 4:23; Colossians 3:10) in the Word of God by the Teaching of the Holy Spirit, the character or way of God is discerned. A vision directly from GOD is to the mind’s eye so to speak, like unto that given directly to Abram before his name change (Genesis 15:1). Before the birth of the Messiah – YESHUA/JESUS, the LORD only spoke to people through the Prophets who were often killed because the thief manipulates folk to believe that their own “way” is superior. That anyone would deem their way superior to God’s might seem obvious stupidity but there is no light in the dominion of darkness. Hence, even in the midst of The Passion of The Christ, He said: “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doingLuke 23:34 (NIV). Those whom God the Father has called out of the dominion of darkness and into the Kingdom of His only begotten Son (Colossians 1:13) speak wisdom and revelation in prayers of intercession for the lost as well as prayers of supplication for the brethren and oneself; it is the reason we are asked to pray for those in authority whether or not we like the person (1 Timothy 2:1-2). No matter how brilliant man deems himself, God’s thoughts and ways are higher (Isaiah 55:8-9). Praise The One who is Omnipresent and Omnipotent and Omniscient, whose compassion and grace toward all people will turn a curse into a blessing. For LOVE who is GOD desires to help each and every one of us, both the saved and the un-saved. Nevertheless, God can’t tell a lie (1 Samuel 15:29). Therefore, God never goes back on what He has spoken (Isaiah 55:10-11). God gave dominion over the re-created earth to man (Genesis 1:1-28) who turned-over the keys of its lease to the thief (Genesis 2:16-17 & 3:1-6). However, since whatsoever is spoken from the mouth of God never returns void (Isaiah 55: 10-11), God made blood covenant (Genesis 3:21) after covenant (Genesis 9:1-11) after covenant (Genesis 12:1-3) after covenant (Genesis 15:5-21) after covenant (Genesis 17:7) after covenant (2 Samuel 8:16; 1 Kings 3:5-9; 2 Chronicles 7:12-16) with man until the mystery of His plan for the redemption of mankind was revealed in the First Coming of Christ (Ephesians 1:9-10), who, born as a man, walked in perfect obedience to the will of God the Father for the benefit of all mankind (Philippians 2:6-11; Colossians 1:19; Hebrews 5:8-10). This is the season wherein we celebrate the birth of the One who was sent to take back the keys of death and Hades (Revelation 1:18). Hallelujah!

Speak the promise . . . Harriet
