The blood of Jesus set us free to live by the leading of the Spirit which necessarily also involves the leading of the reborn or re-created spirit. This liberty is motivated by the rule of love poured by the Spirit of God (Romans 5:5) into the hearts of those reconciled unto the Family of God by the Blood; neither legalism nor materialism are factors. It is in the knowledge that God’s law is seed time and harvest that those of the Family of God sow good seed to produce a good harvest for the benefit of both self and others (Genesis 8:22; Mark 4:20; Matthew 12:33). To stand firm on the promises of God – that it’s true unto you according to the promises of God by the finished work of Christ Jesus, begins with comprehension of God’s grace. That these (promises) are of the grace of God by the redemptive work of Christ Jesus made manifest through the power of the Holy Spirit. God’s desire for His sons & daughters to decree a thing, in keeping with His Word, involves application of the rule of love poured into our hearts by which the measure of faith is operated or powered (Romans 12:3; Galatians 5:6b). This freedom (Romans 8:36) is liberty which stems from confidence in one’s own ability before it is confident in the ability of others. That too is of God, “Therefore, I am convinced and sure that He who began a good work in me will continue until the day of Christ Jesus’ return.
