I sent you to reap what you have not worked for. Others have done the hard work, and you have reaped the benefits of their labor.” John 4:38 (NIV)

Each of us, who comprise the Body of Christ, do the work assigned by the LORD God but the seeds that each of us plant in the fertile soil of the heart (the re-created/reborn spirit) grow by the Gardener Who is God the Father (John 15:1-8; 1Co 3:5-7). In perfect obedience to the will of God the Father on behalf of all mankind, YESHUA/JESUS did the hard part; before the birth & ministry of Jesus the Anointed One and His Anointing the Prophets were murdered proclaiming the Word of the LORD God (Matthew 23:29-31; Acts 7:52-53 & 3:14; 2 Chronicles 36:16); and after the death, resurrection, and ascension of Christ Jesus the Apostles were killed for the utterance of their testimony (Revelation 12:11; Acts 4:18-20). As the LORD God spoke by the Holy Spirit through King David: “Why the big noise nations? Why the mean plots, people? Earth’s leaders push for position, Potentates meet for summit talks, The God-deniers, the Messiah-defiers!Acts 4:25-26 (MSG)

The Lord Jesus did the hard part; the labor of those reconciled unto the LORD God by the blood of Jesus is in the Word of God. That which we received of the LORD God by the redemptive work of Christ Jesus, the anointing in the person of the Holy Spirit empowers us to retain. Scripture relays the fact that salvation bought by the blood of Jesus also brought the present-day Ministry of the Holy Spirit Who lives within all “in Christ” (1Co 3:16). Although the spirit is re-created or reborn or regenerated in an instant, the soul (i.e., intellect, will, emotions) must be continually renewed day by day in God’s Word through the revelatory Teaching of the Holy Spirit. For the redeemed/the elect/sons & daughters of God by the Blood neither aspire to be worldly nor go along with the way of the world. Rather, we labor in God’s Word to build on the foundation who is Christ Jesus – The Cornerstone (Isaiah 28:16; 1 Corinthians 3:11; Ephesians 2:20; 1 Peter 2:6).
