Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ Jesus,

The One Who is Omniscient and Omnipotent and Omnipresent has already provided everything that each in the Family of God would have need of; it’s already done. Yet Scripture relays the fact that the Word of God must be mixed with faith in order to profit thereof. It is by the power of God within – the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, that those of the Family of God by the blood of Jesus are enabled, yea, empowered to refuse focus on the problem. Regardless of what it looks like in the natural realm, those rendered sons & daughters of the LORD God by the redemptive work of Christ Jesus “speak the promise”. For the God-kind of faith powered by the God-kind of love calls forth out of the spirit realm into the natural realm in the way of the LORD God when He spoke the non-existent things as though they were. Therefore, to “believe in God” and “believe God” is paramount to faith:

  • Abraham is called the “father of faith” because though he and Sarah were well beyond the child-bearing age, he gave evidence of full confidence that the LORD God was able and mighty to do as promised. That Abraham would become the father of many nations. To make a longer story short, Abraham believed and received.
  • Of the twelve leaders sent to scout or spy the land God promised, ten returned and disseminated un-belief amongst the people which Scripture states as an “evil report”. However, two from the same group – Caleb and Joshua encouraged the people to believe God which Scripture states as a “good report”. To make a longer story short, the ten received what they believed (none entered in) whereas the two believed and received (both entered in).
  • Jesus the Anointed One and His Anointing confessed that the girl was not dead but asleep (heed what is allowed out of the mouth re an expected miracle); and the people laughed Him to scorn. However, after the Lord Jesus put all of the un-believers out of the house, He raised-up the child.
  • Upon the death of her son, the Shunammite woman told her husband that she wanted to go see the Prophet Elisha; and when the husband asked why, she replied “all is well”. The Prophet saw her from a distance; and when he asked how were things with the family, her response was “all is well” (again, heed what is allowed out of the mouth re an expected miracle). To make a longer story short, the Prophet Elisha raised-up her son.

The thief that only comes to steal, kill, and destroy encourages negative speak as clearly evidenced in the societal vernacular. However, those who desire to manifest the promises of God must endeavor to speak in the way of the Lord Jesus Who only did and spoke as He heard of the Father regardless of what it looked like in the natural realm. Those “in Christ” are to speak likewise which gives evidence that one “believes in God” and “believes God”. Perhaps needless to say, such involves withstanding the ridicule.

The “measure of faith” is given at the onset of salvation; yet the faith of a reborn or re-created or regenerated spirit must be further developed by the Word of God. Both belief (faith) as well as un-belief are of a free-will decision. Nevertheless, regardless of what it looks like in the natural realm, sons & daughters of the LORD God by the redemptive work of Christ Jesus endeavor to “speak the promise, not the problem”. For there is nothing more powerful than the Word of God; “The Word of God is the most powerful thing that exist.”

Speak the promise . . . Harriet
