Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ Jesus,  

“7 A war broke out in heaven. Michael and his angels were fighting against the dragon and his angels.  8 But the dragon lost the battle. It and its angels were forced out of their places in heaven  9 and were thrown down to earth. Yes, that old snake and his angels were thrown out of heaven! The snake who fools everyone on earth, is known as the devil and Satan.  Revelation 12:7-9 (CEV)

Both the Prophet Isaiah and the Lord Jesus referenced that which the Apostle John would write about in Revelation 12:7-9. The devil and his cohorts had already been thrown down which a significant number surmise that the impact might’ve rendered the earth an “empty and formless mass cloaked in darkness” Genesis 1:2 (NLT), until YHWH (with inserted vowels YAHWEH transliterated JEHOVAH commonly interpreted the LORD)1 said, “Let there be . . . .”. Then, from the properties of the earth, the LORD God formed mankind’s body and breathed His own breath for life and gave power & authority with free-will, and a platform by which to utilize all the godly attributes for the fulfillment of the assignment: to produce and fill and subdue and rule over the earth. But the initial use of free-will to act contrary to the LORD’s advice was a declaration of independence that proved debilitating because it resulted in the departure of the Holy Spirit. For it’s impossible to be independent from the LORD yet retain God’s Spirit. Therefore, that initial use of free-will turned the lease of the earth and the keys (authority) thereof over to Satan. But “God so loved the world” that He entered blood covenant after blood covenant for the sake of humanity until the mystery of His plan was revealed in Jesus the Anointed One and His Anointing; and the assignment He fulfilled in perfect obedience to the will of God the Father on behalf of humanity – Salvation, made it possible for the redeemed to go back to operating in the power & authority on a level that the world has no familiarity with. However, though salvation results in the instantaneous re-creation or rebirth of the spirit, renewal of the soul (i.e., intellect, will, emotions) is continual by the Word of God through the Teaching of the Holy Spirit whose Ministry returned to earth upon the Ascension and seating of Christ at the right hand of Abba Father.  

To reiterate, the only way to curtail being fooled by the manipulations of the devil and his cohorts is the ongoing renewal of the soul (i.e., intellect, will, emotions) in God’s Word via the Teaching of the Holy Spirit. The Lord Jesus didn’t preach religion; He taught about the superior wisdom and superior principles of the Kingdom of God; He sent both the 12 Disciples and 70 Messengers in pairs to teach the Good News/Gospel in every town through which He would travel on His way to Jerusalem. The Lord Jesus sent them with power and authority over demons, to cure diseases, to preach the Kingdom of God, and heal the sick. Such is the very same assignment and enabling authority that those “in Him” are given, except the Lord Jesus said that we would do “greater works”. For the spotless blood of Jesus washed us “and made us kings & priests”. Another of the Family of God gives clarity about the different anointings of each: kings – (various positions of leadership [i.e., marketplace/business, politics, etc.) have the anointing for provision in the power to get wealth for kingdom use; and priests – (the five-fold ministry gifts of Jesus: “apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers” [Ephesians 4:11] which don’t conflict with the gifts of the Holy Spirit [2 Corinthians 12:7-10] have the anointing for vision.2  Further, an individual might hold both positions simultaneously such as Melchizedek, David, and YESHUA/JESUS who Scripture relays as being “in the order of Melchizedek” as well as “KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS”. By Scripture we may also know that kings of the original branch never entered into battle sans a word from the priests.  Similarly, history reveals that in 1944 (due to continual rain) an Army Commander – General Patton, described as having a genuine relationship with the LORD God, requested a good “prayer for weather” from the Chief Chaplain of The Third Army in order to win the battle.3  Now (this day), each person reconciled unto the Family of God by the redemptive work of Christ Jesus is equipped to succeed by the manifest power of the Spirit of God – our Comforter, Counselor, Teacher, and Sword who reminds us of all things JESUS. For the Lord Jesus didn’t come to fix a broken system. Rather, “the Word became flesh and dwelt among us” in order to replace it with the superior wisdom and superior principles of the Kingdom of God. Now (this day) those rendered sons & daughters of Abba Father by the blood of Jesus have received The Blessing of Abraham (material) and the fullness thereof (spiritual) by the redemptive work of Christ Jesus; the Ministry-of-Authority in the Name above all names; and the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. All to the honor and praise and glory of God the Father, with thanksgiving in Jesus’ Name, Amen.
