• . . . this extraordinary message of God’s powerful plan to rescue everyone who trusts him, starting with Jews and then right on to everyone else! God’s way of putting people right shows up in the acts of faith, confirming what Scripture has said all along: ‘The person in right standing before God by trusting him really lives.’Romans 1:16-17 (MSG)

YHWH (with inserted vowels YAHWEH transliterated JEHOVAH commonly interpreted the LORD) declared Abraham, “not guilty” because he trusted (believed) God. And Abraham – the father of faith, would teach his children in the way of the LORD before the mystery of God’s plan was revealed in Christ Jesus; Whose spotless blood renders all who believe and confess Him “not guilty” through His redemptive work.

  • God went for the jugular when he sent his own Son. He didn’t deal with the problem as something remote and unimportant. In his Son, Jesus, he personally took on the human condition, entered the disordered mess of struggling humanity in order to set it right once and for all. Romans 8:3 (MSG)
  • That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.Romans 8:4 (KJV)

For the righteousness or right standing that humans could never accomplish through their own good works, would be by the LORD God “setting-things-right” through the redemptive work of Christ Jesus “setting-things-right” for all who believe and confess Him.

  • When Jesus died, he took sin down with him, but alive he brings God down to us. From now on, think of it this way: Sin speaks a dead language which means nothing to you; God speaks your mother tongue, and you hang on every word. You are dead to sin and alive to God. That’s what Jesus did. Romans 6:10-14 (MSG)
  • God knew what he was doing from the very beginning. He decided from the outset to shape the lives of those who love him along the same lines as the life of his Son. The Son stands first in the line of humanity he restored.Romans 8:29 (MSG)

However, the LORD God never imposes on non-believers or the unsaved because He comes by invitation only. Therefore, the unsaved or the lost may (free-will) simply invite God into their lives through Christ Jesus; whereas the saved or those redeemed by the blood of Jesus, who already have God within continually seek Him regarding every aspect of life through prayer, with thanksgiving in Jesus’ Name. Hallelujah!
