Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ Jesus,

He was in the world, the world was there through him, and yet the world didn’t even notice. He came to his own people, but they didn’t want him. But whoever did want him, who believed he was who he claimed and would do what he said, He made to be their true selves, their child-of-God selves. These are the God-begotten, not blood-begotten, not flesh-begotten, not sex-begotten.John 1:10-13 (MSG)

GOD speaks and it happens, and created in His image (Genesis 1:26-27) so too is the power of the tongue with man. Therefore, it behooves us to speak in the example of the sent One whose blood redeemed, recreated, reconciled and restored man to right standing with God the Father. Peterson, E.H. (2002) makes it plain: In the Old Testament, GOD spoke the world into existence; all creation called into being by speaking. In the New Testament GOD spoke salvation into existence in the person of Jesus.¹ The Word became flesh and blood, and moved into the neighborhood. We saw the glory with our own eyes, the one-of-a-kind glory, like Father, like Son, Generous inside and out, true from start to finish. . . . .We all live off his generous bounty, gift after gift after gift. We got the basics from Moses, and then this exuberant giving and receiving, this endless knowing and understanding — all this came through Jesus, the Messiah.John 1:14-17 (MSG).

The “Life-Light”, Whose grace speaks forgiveness, rebirth, love, joy, peace, healing;  the restoration of man through His fullness-of-life-giving blood by the power of the Holy Spirit. The One sent forth, Christ Jesus is the Mediator of the new covenant between GOD and man; He is the Great Intercessor, Apostle and High Priest for all mankind (Isaiah 53:12; John 17:1-26; Hebrews 3:1; 1Jn 2:2). Even now, for any who receive Him as Savior & Lord, He is our Advocate against the accuser of the brethren (1 John 2:1). “So Christ has now become the High Priest over all the good things that have come.Hebrews 9:11 (NLT). And what are these good things which the grace of God the Father has given to us through the Lord Jesus? “power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing.Revelation 5:12 (KJV). This is of the glorious inheritance of the saints (set apart ones) who are sons and daughters of the Father by the finished work of Christ Jesus.

Therefore, we speak prayers of faith (belief) to the Father, in Jesus’ name, for wisdom and revelation by the power of the Holy Spirit; that we may ?know Him better, ?understand our assignment for establishing His covenant in the earth, ?the inheritance given to succeed, ?His immeasurable power within, and ?divine love that abounds (Ephesians 1:17-23; Colossians 1:9-14; Ephesians 3:16-21; Philippians 1:9-11; 2Co 13:7-9; 3 John 2, etc.). The Holy Spirit, Whom Jesus asked Abba Father to send (John 14:16,26, 15:26, 16:7-15), Who is the Living Water and the indwelling (John 7:38-39; John 14:17) also intercedes for us when we pray “in the spirit” (Romans 8:26-27; Jude 20; 1Co 12:10d). And we keep our thoughts and speak in-line with the Father as the Lord Jesus exemplified.

Speak the promise . . . Harriet
