Dear Sisters and Brothers in Jesus the Christ,

Hebrews 11:1 (KJV) – Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”

Hebrews 11:6 (NKJV) – But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek HIm.

Matthew 13:23 (NLT) – The seed that fell on good soil represents those who truly hear and understand God’s word and produce a harvest of thirty, sixty, or even a hundred times as much as had been planted.

Faith involves comprehension and application of the Word of God. The use of the word Believer as a noun pertains to those rendered sons (a reference to maturity as opposed to gender) of GOD by the blood of Jesus; who not only believe in GOD, we believe what He said/says which necessarily includes what He says about those reconciled unto Him by the Blood (Romans 5:10; 2Co 5:18; Colossians 1:20, 22). As it is written, such requires continual renewing of the mind in the Word of God through revelation of the information therein by the Teaching of the Holy Spirit (Ro 10:17; John 14:16-17, 26 & 16:13). Non-believers may access the Word of God but “the knowledge of the secrets of the kingdom of heaven” isn’t given to them (Matthew 13:11, 14-15; Isaiah 6:9-10).

Believers are to walk or operate with the God kind of faith (Isaiah 7:9; Habakkuk 2:4c; Matthew 9:29, 17:20, 21:21; Mark 11:22-24; Ro 1:17; 2Co 5:7; Galatians 3:11; Hebrews 10:38). Faith isn’t to stop at the point of salvation. Faith is action oriented in keeping with the way of the Father by the power of the Holy Spirit, Whose current ministry on earth is given Believers of every nation by the finished work of Christ Jesus (Ephesians 2:11-18; Galatians 3:13-14).

Therefore, Believers earnestly endeavor toward comprehension and application of the WORD by: the Holy Spirit; those called in having received the five-fold ministry gifts of Jesus for the equipping of Believers (Ephesians 4:11-13); and every Believer manifesting the gift(s) of the Holy Spirit (1Co 12:7-10). All of which is for the common good of the church over which our Lord Jesus was appointed the universal and supreme Head (Psalm 8:6; Ephesians 1:22 [AMP]).

We may know (comprehension) by the WORD, that the Head (Christ) has commissioned the Body (Believers) to do (application) by the power of God with authority in the Name above all names from our seated position in Him (Mark 16:15-18; Matthew 28:18; Ephesians 1:19-21 & 2:4-6). We aren’t waiting on GOD; He is waiting on us.

Prayer: “Lord, I accept Thy gracious word. I believe that Thou hast thus wrought for me. In humble faith I do now take my seat in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus at Thy right hand. Teach me how to fulfill this sacred ministry, how to exercise the authority which Thou hast entrusted to me. Train me day by day that I may attain to the full stature of the perfect man in Christ, so that in me Thy purpose of the ages may be fulfilled. Amen.” ¹
