One of my prayers is that more of us – the redeemed of the LORD – kingdom citizens – the Family of GOD become increasingly proactive. In other words, no less proactive as a significant number of us tend to be reactive. The Lord Jesus got up from peaceful sleep to rebuke the winds and the water and the storm was stilled, to which the reaction of the men with Him was: “what manner of man is this?” (Matthew 8:27, Mark 4:39-41); it is the manner of man (reference herewith is to maturity as opposed to gender) that is you by the finished work of Christ Jesus. The Living Word said, “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these will he do, because I go to My Father“ John 14:12 (NKJV). We are speaking spirits; hence power is in the tongue. Speak to every type of storm, tell it what is forbidden against the people of GOD, tell the waters to recede, tell it!, in Jesus’ name.

Those reconciled unto God the Father by the blood of Jesus have been given authority to bind and loose in the Name above all names (Philippians 2:9) which is good to know and even mo’ better to apply. That there is power in the tongue means that agreeing via the “Amen” to things that aren’t based in Scripture also has an effect. Everything that sounds good isn’t necessarily good; check it against the WORD. Therefore, if 3/4 of that which a person says is good but 1/4 isn’t isn’t based in Scripture, there shouldn’t be an “Amen” no matter how well intended. Nevertheless, if something is said that is based in Scripture and not a single person agrees via the “Amen” such doesn’t nullify the Word of God. (The primary reason I reference Scripture isn’t to verify a writing or reflection about God’s Word. Rather, it’s provided so that the reader may research and read it for themselves; that revelation may be by the Teaching of the Holy Spirit.)

Recently, I’m hearing talk about the “doings” of other nations for the purpose of disturbing the atmosphere toward catastrophic results. Sons & daughters of the Most High GOD, know that you are in Jesus the Anointed One and He defeated Satan at the cross (Ephesians 2:4-6, Colossians 2:15). The power of God is in you, and you have authority in the Name above all names over demonic activity. Therefore, may we too be “doing” as the WORD instructs: put on the whole armor of GOD daily (Ephesians 6:11-18); and pray/ask the Father, in Jesus’ name, to teach us by the Holy Spirit how to use the ministry-of-authority bestowed the Name above all names (Matthew 28:18-20, Mark 16:15-18); to the praise, honor and glory of God the Father, with thanksgiving in Jesus’ name, Amen.
