Dear Sisters and Brothers in Jesus the Christ,

“3) As we know Jesus better, his divine power gives us everything we need for living a godly life. He has called us to receive his own glory and goodness!  4) And by that same mighty power, he has given us all of his rich and wonderful promises. He has promised that you will escape the decadence all around you caused by evil desires and that you will share in his divine nature.” 2 Peter 1:3-4 (NLT)

“3) For His divine power has bestowed upon us all things that [are requisite and suited] to life and godliness, through the [full, personal] knowledge of Him Who called us by and to His own glory and excellence (virtue).  4) By means of these He has bestowed on us His precious and exceedingly great promises, so that through them you may escape [by flight] from the moral decay (rottenness and corruption) that is in the world because of covetousness (lust and greed), and become sharers (partakers) of the divine nature.” 2 Peter 1:3-4 (AMP)

“Everything that goes into a life of pleasing God has been miraculously given to us by getting to know, personally and intimately, the One who invited us to God. The best invitation we ever received! We were also given absolutely terrific promises to pass onto you — your tickets to participation in the life of God after you turned your back on a world corrupted by lust.”
2 Peter 1:3-4 (MSG)

Blessed BE the Lord God Almighty – Creator of Heaven and Earth, my Abba Father by the blood of Jesus/Yeshua. The more I endeavor to grasp the full dimension of GOD’s love towards me, is the more I am utterly amazed about His compassion and ever faithfulness towards us; like unto the question: “4) what are mortals that You should think of us, mere humans that You should care for us?  5) For You made us only a little lower than God, and You crowned us with glory and honor. 6 You put us in charge of everything You made, giving us authority over all things . . .” Psalm 8:4-6 (NLT). Praise GOD that my reactions to the things of this world, perpetrated by the evil one continually at work against the children of God, isn’t the way of Abba Father who sent His only begotten Son, Who had absolutely no sin, to take upon Himself the sins of mankind once for all. This Jesus – the Son of LOVE who is GOD, so hated by a significant number of “religious” leaders that they plotted His death due to lack of revelation that the Son was the seed to be sown for many sons. In other words, the perpetrator was clueless that Jesus the Anointed One and His Anointing was the mystery of God’s plan from the beginning (John 1:1-2; 2Ti 1:9-10; Titus 1:1-3a). For God has always reserved for Himself a remnant (1 Kings 19:18; Romans 11:4-5) of those who are stayed in the LORD; the elect of both man (original branch and those of us grafted) and angels by His grace or unmerited favor (1Pe 1:1-2; 1Ti 5:21).

As you may know, the Old Testament is the New Testament concealed; the mystery of God’s plan for the salvation of man after the first Adam’s use of free-will that allowed sin to enter into the earth and every aspect thereof. For El Roi – God Who Sees, He Who is Omniscient would necessarily know how things would go down (no pun intended) in the Garden of Eden. Nevertheless, whatsoever goes forth from the mouth of God must accomplish that for which it was sent, it can’t return void (Isaiah 55:11 & 45:23). The Blessing that God decreed over man (Genesis 1:26-28 & 12:3; Proverbs 10:22; Galatians 3:14) must be fulfilled. The Old Testament being a shadow of things to come, pointed to Jesus the Anointed One and His Anointing. Therefore, the New Testament is the Old Testament revealed. The root of Jesse has been established (Isaiah 11:1-3; Romans 15:12; Revelation 22:16b), Christ has come (Luke 2:10; Isaiah 61:1-2a; John 10:10b), the Lord Jesus has risen (Ephesians 1:20-23; Revelation 1:18; 1Co 15:20-28), and He is coming again soon (Isaiah 11:1112; Revelation 22:7,12,20). As it is written, “. . . and the white horse was standing there. And the one sitting on top was named Faithful and True. . . . He was clothed in a robe dripped in blood, and his title was the Word of God. . . . On his robe and thigh was written this title: King of kings and Lord of lords Revelation 19:11-16 (NLT).

Speak the promise . . . Harriet
