Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ Jesus,

Those redeemed by the blood of Jesus the Anointed One and His Anointing aren’t required to “climb up the rough side of the mountain”. Rather, the Lord Jesus said that, when we exercise the God kind of faith, we may tell a mountain to “Go jump in the lake” Mark 11:22-24 (MSG). Therefore, the pronouncement isn’t that we are “going through” but that we are “coming through” (as in “beep, beep, move out the way, I’m coming through devil and you can’t stop me!) because Satan is a defeated foe; Jesus dethroned him and all of his cohorts (Colossians 2:15). Does that mean that the devil won’t send his cohorts to trespass against you? No . . . it means that he is a roaring lion with no teeth! The New Testament/New Covenant reminds us to be self-controlled and alert because our “enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Resist him, standing firm in the faith . . .” 1 Peter 5:8–9 (NIV); and the Old Testament/Old Covenant states: “(you/I) tread upon the lion and the cobra; (we) will trample the great lion and the serpent” Psalm 91:13. Does that mean that you and I go looking for the enemy or enter into a den of vipers? No . . . it means when the enemy trespasses against us, we use the power weapons of the Body of Christ: the Sword which is the Word of God, the blood of Jesus, prayers, anointing oil, the name of Jesus, the ministry-of-authority, the gifts of the Spirit, the assigned ministering spirits who are the Angels of God (2Co 10:4; Ephesians 6:11-18). In other words, those things to which Scripture is referring to as “all things work together for good to them that love God” Romans 8:26–28. Further, as the sons and daughters of Love Who is God (1 John 4:16) we refrain from hate because “Faith worketh by love” Galatians 5:6. The evil one knows that words have power (yes, the rhyme we learned as children about “sticks & stones . . .” is yet another lie from the father of lies); he knows that hate-filled words give him permission to wreak all kinds of havoc. Therefore, we don’t allow ourselves to be suckered into calling people names or consumed by hate because the Father has called us out of the kingdom of darkness and into the Kingdom of His only begotten Son (1 Peter 3:10-12; Colossians 1:13). Further, stop buying into the lie that GOD sends bad stuff to make you strong; for God is Love and Love doesn’t forward maladies as some kind of teaching tool. Rather, Love Who is God sent us Yeshua/Jesus to show us how we were created to operate with dominion over the earth (not over people); the only begotten Son of Love came so that we might choose abundant life through Him (John 10:10b). And, as though it wasn’t enough to sacrifice His sinless lifeblood and enter into hell to take back the keys of death and Hades (Revelation 1:18) on our behalf, Jesus asked the Father to send the Holy Spirit – the Spirit of Truth with Whom we were sealed (2Co 1:22; Ephesians 1:13 & 4:30) so that we wouldn’t be without another Counselor (John 14:16-17).
