Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ Jesus,

. . . about the special abilities the Holy Spirit gives to each of us, for I must correct your misunderstandings about them. You know that when you were still pagans you were led astray and swept along in worshipping speechless idols. So I want you to know how to discern what is truly from God: No one speaking by the Spirit of God can curse Jesus, and no one is able to say, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ except by the Holy Spirit.” 1Co 12:1-3 (NLT).

Praying to God by the WORD is effective because it is given by the Holy Spirit. Some examples of prayer given by the Spirit of God are Ephesians 1:17-22 (for wisdom and revelation); Ephesians 3:16-21 (to grasp Christ Jesus ‘ love which surpasses knowledge so as to be filled to the full measure of God); and Philippians 1:9-11 (for abounding love and discernment to sense what is vital, and recognize real value so as to neither stumble nor cause stumbling, and to produce good fruit). In praying Scripture, we may personalize it by speaking in the first person or replacing “your” with “my” and “you” with “I” as appropriate. Although such is communication between God and the individual praying audibly, the benefit to others (prior to the manifestation of whatsoever in the natural realm) is in regard to the ability to understand that which is being spoken. Praying to God in tongue is effective because it is inspired by the Holy Spirit. All made sons and daughters of God by the blood of Jesus (i.e., Christians, Saints [separated ones], Believers) may receive this special language given by the Spirit of God. However, as praying in the spirit or praying in tongue is communication between God and the individual praying audibly, the benefit to others (prior to manifestation of whatsoever in the natural realm) requires the Holy Spirit given gift of “interpretation of tongues”. Speaking in tongue is not for “show”; neither is it to be forbidden. The Living Word – JESUS said, “But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him. God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and in truth.” John 4:23-24 (NKJV). Those redeemed, re-created, and reconciled unto God by the blood of Jesus have inherited every right and privilege bestowed sons and daughters of God Most High which includes: everything Jesus received as well as part of His anointing with authority in His name as well as The Blessing of Abraham, and the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. The power of God is in every Believer, and that which comes of God can never be depleted. (Of course, such may lay dormant due to inactivity and/or even forfeited due to the exercise of free-will.) Whether one has 50% or 100% of the anointing, it is power-filled. Nevertheless, if the glass (so to speak) is deemed half full, the fullness thereof may be asked of Abba Father, in Jesus’ Name, by the prayer of faith.
