Galatians 3:13-14 (KJ19) – “Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangs on a tree: That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.”

By the grace of Abba Father and the finished work of Christ Jesus, The Blessing of Abraham is certain to both the original and ingrafted branches (Romans 11:1-32) who: use the same kind of faith exemplified by the “father of faith” (Romans 4:17) when we believe and confess the Lord Jesus (Romans 10:9); move beyond the threshold of the cross by faith operated by divine love (Galatians 5:6); endeavor to manifest the promises of God by His mighty power within us (Ephesians 3:20). In other words, those rendered sons & daughters of God by the blood of Jesus are now partakers by faith of The Covenant of Abraham. The Blessing that God bestowed Abraham – the father of faith, is accessible to all the seed reconciled by the blood of Jesus unto the Family of God, in which we have an inheritance and a life sealed by the Holy Spirit (Romans 8:14-17). God’s grace has given both the measure of faith (Romans 12:3) as well as His kind of love (Romans 5:5) by which faith is operated (Galatians 5:6). Therefore, Believers have been empowered to partake of the manifold blessing: “power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing” Revelation 5:12 (KJV), bestowed the precious Lamb of God whose redemptive work bought & brought it for all mankind; and Yeshua/Jesus too lived by faith (Galatians 2:20) that God the Father would fully execute His plan made before the beginning (Ephesians 1:3-14 [NIV] & 3:9-12). God the Father gifted, to all people, Jesus the Anointed One and His Anointing who by faith walked in perfect obedience to the will of the Father that we might (free-will) choose to receive and/or manifest the promises of God through Him by faith.

Faith is the key to receive every gift given. Jesus the Anointed One and His Anointing is God’s gift to the world through whom all the promises of God are made manifest by the same faith as that of father Abraham, and King David, and the Lord Jesus. “For by grace are you saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast” Ephesians 2:8,9 (KJ19). The NIV Concordance defines faith as “complete reliance, loyalty, or trust in God”. There is a hope that comes of trusting God. The peace that “passeth all understanding” (Philippians 4:7) is of rest in God. Our “armor and protection” (Psalm 91:4) in the midst of disaster is refuge readily available in God. There is active obedience which emanates from trust that God will do what He said He would do.

The treason of the first man/Adam when he used free-will in acting contrary to the advice of God (Genesis 2:16-17 & 3:6b) ushered sin into the earth resulting in all people being born into sin. The inability of man to satisfy all 600+ laws of the covenant between God and man as relayed through Moses (The Mosaic Covenant) showed that man wasn’t able to overcome the sin problem by his own works. The fact that Abraham was counted as righteous had nothing to do with the law; he simply believed that God would be true to His Word and acted upon or put action to it. The WORD doesn’t tell us that Abraham was perfect; it tells us that he believed God and put action to that belief by doing. Likewise, the size of the giant (i.e., mountain, obstacle) meant nothing to David; the problem personified didn’t faze him as evidenced by the fact that David “ran quickly toward” (1Sa 17:48) as opposed to cowering. That the Lord Jesus referred to Himself as the Son of Man emphasized His humanity, having laid down His divinity by which He didn’t operate. Nevertheless, Jesus remained cognizant of who He was and Whose He was – the only begotten Son of the Most High God, sent to show mankind by example, the manner in which we were created to operate in the earth. Therefore, Christ Jesus only did as He heard and saw of the Father (John 5:19 & 8:26b,28,38 & 12:49-59 & 14:10). The Messiah Jesus fulfilled His assignment in perfect obedience to the will of God the Father on behalf of all mankind by faith from beginning to His follow-through of The Passion; for none before Him had ever entered into hell and brought back-up or resurrected (Ephesians 1:19-23; Revelation 1:17-19).

Jesus paid it all to obliterate the sin problem once for all mankind because we couldn’t.
