 “For I am not ashamed of the Gospel (good news) of Christ, for it is God’s power working unto salvation [for deliverance from eternal death] to everyone who believes with a personal trust and a confident surrender and firm reliance, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. For in the Gospel a righteousness which God ascribes is revealed, both springing from faith and leading to faith [disclosed through the way of faith that arouses to more faith]. “It’s news I’m most proud to proclaim, this extraordinary Message of God’s powerful plan to rescue everyone who trusts him, starting with Jews and then right on to everyone else! God’s way of putting people right shows up in the acts of faith, confirming what Scripture has said all along: ‘The person in right standing before God by trusting in him really lives.” Romans 1:16-17 (MSG)

YESHUA/JESUS taught the Kingdom of GOD; He never preached religion. For religion is essentially about trusting in the traditions and rituals of men. The Gospel or Good News of Christ Jesus is about trusting in the grace of GOD: it is the gospel of the kingdom, the gospel of peace, the gospel of love, the gospel of joy, and more; it is the good news of receiving from GOD by the finished work of Christ Jesus, as opposed to achieving in order to receive. This is the grace of YHWH with inserted vowels – YAHWEH, transliterated – JEHOVAH, and generally translated – “the LORD” ¹ who sent His only begotten Son as a seed to be sown for the harvest of more sons and daughters. More than two thousand years ago on Calvary the sinless lifeblood of Jesus the Anointed One and His Anointing was exchanged for the sins of all mankind. That is, the blood of Jesus bought and brought the righteousness that enabled us to be reconciled unto the Family of GOD as His dear children; salvation (deliverance) has nothing to do with our own “good works” (Ephesians 2:8-9).

Therefore, the gospel/good news of Jesus the Christ has absolutely nothing to do with religion. Rather, this good news is all about the grace of GOD that allowed for the finished work of Christ Jesus who walked in perfect obedience to the will of God the Father on behalf of all mankind. The Lord Jesus paid it all that we might (free-will) choose to have abundant life now; an inheritance is for the use of the living. For this is the New Testament/New Covenant between GOD and man ratified by the blood of Jesus; abundant life now and eternal life with LOVE who is GOD hereafter. Howbeit I’m not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ who gave His life that I might (free-will) choose abundant life (John 10:10b). All glory to the One who is Omnipresent, Omniscient, Omnipotent – the Sovereign Lord God Almighty – (my) Abba Father by the all redeeming, re-creating, reconciling, pacifying, all restoring blood of Jesus, with thanksgiving in the Name of Jesus – KING of Kings and LORD of Lords, Amen.
