Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ Jesus,

But you have received the Holy Spirit and he lives within you, in your hearts, so that you don’t need anyone to teach you what is right. For he teaches you all things, and he is the Truth, and no liar; and so, just as he has said, you must live in Christ, never to depart from him. 1 John 2:27 (TLB)

But you have received the Holy Spirit, and he lives within you, so you don’t need anyone to teach you what is true. For the Spirit teaches you all things, and what he teaches is true—it is not a lie. So continue in what he has taught you, and continue to live in Christ. 1 John 2:27 (NLT)

Faith manifest the things of GOD. Faith pleases GOD. Faith exhibits trust in GOD. Faith takes! To become brothers and sisters who are the Body of Christ, the only requirement was faith to confess Jesus as Lord and believe in our hearts that GOD raised Him from the dead (Romans 10:9). That was faith for deliverance by the grace of God the Father and His only begotten Son by the power of the Holy Spirit. Faith received salvation by the exchange at Calvary that bought and brought redemption for all mankind. That is, faith in the finished work of Christ Jesus. But wait, there’s more . . . through the redemptive work of Jesus the Anointed One, we received the Spirit of GOD, also known as the Spirit of Truth who is called the Holy Spirit or the Holy Ghost. To be clear, the Holy Spirit is a person; not a thing and not an “it”.

After Christ Jesus finished the work inherit with His first coming on earth for the benefit of all mankind and returned to the Father, the Ministry of the Holy Spirit began; His Ministry on earth for the benefit of those of the Body of Christ is until the Second Coming of YESHUA/JESUS – the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Living One, KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS, the Root and the Offspring of David, the bright Morning Star. (To which I speak as the Apostle John did: “Amen. Come Lord Jesus” Revelation 22:20b.)

In the meantime, we are sealed with the Holy Spirit “as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come” 2 Corinthians 1:22. The Holy Spirit is our Comforter and Counselor and Teacher who reminds us of all things JESUS. The Holy Spirit helps us to pray by interceding for us. The Holy Spirit gives nine gifts to the Body of Christ that don’t conflict with the five-fold ministry gifts of Jesus (Ephesians 4:11) because the same GOD works within all of these gifts. The Holy Spirit (big S) teaches our re-created spirit (little s), though the depth of activity or the dormancy thereof is of free-will as such is relative to our own relationship with God the Father through Christ Jesus. The Anointing is the substantive power of the Holy Spirit within each son and daughter of GOD to equip us for everyday life.
