Indeed Mothers and Fathers and Grandmothers and Grandfathers and a significant number of other people have prayed/asked God the Father in Jesus’ name on behalf of us, same as we still pray for the harvest yet to come. However, more than 2,000 years ago and moments before YESHUA/JESUS would lay down His life on behalf of all mankind and take it up again, He was the first to pray to Abba Father for us: 

• “Neither for these alone do I pray [it is not for their sake only that I make this request], but also for all those who will ever come to believe in [trust in, cling to, rely on] Me through their word and teaching.” John 17:20 (AMP) 

• “I am praying not only for these disciples but also for all who will ever believe in me because of their testimony.” John 17:20 (NLT) 

• “I’m praying not for them But also for those who will believe in me because of them and their witness about me.” John 17:20 (MSG) 

• “My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message.” John 17:20 (NIV) 

Then, after the resurrection and before His ascension, Christ Jesus spoke receipt of the Holy Spirit – His leading and direction. Oh! that we may grasp the full dimension of Christ Jesus’ love by which we may have the rich flooding of the fullness of GOD.
