Doubt is the polar opposite of faith. Doubt is perhaps the simplest of all strategies used by satan and his cohorts to convince those rendered sons & daughters of YHWH/JEHOVAH by the blood of YESHUA/JESUS not to seek the LORD. The only One who is Omniscient is God the Father; He knows our exact thoughts. The thief that only comes to steal and kill and destroy is the father of lies (John 10:10a & 8:44) and can only attempt to plant a thought, having watched long enough to know what might tempt a human to behave contrary to the way of God. Therefore, what we must do is recognize any thought contrary to the way of God and cast “that’s not my thought” down immediately. Unassuming mr. doubt is satan’s simplest strategy because while those who by faith believe in the LORD and seek His face know that GOD is able (Psalm 27:8; Matthew 6:33; 2Co 9:8), the purpose of mr. doubt’s visit is to persuade them to allow or permit the whispered thought: “but will GOD do it for me?” According to God’s Word, the answer is a constant, clear-cut, and resounding “YES!” For in Christ Jesus, all the promises of GOD are Yes and Amen to the glory of God the Father (2Co 1:20). We are and we live and we have “in Him”. John 6:44, John 14:6, 1Co 1:9 and Colossians 1:13 relay the fact that all come to God the Father through Jesus the Christ whose redemptive work set the favor of God upon the righteous (those in right standing with GOD – the set apart ones – the saints – the remnant – the elect). Although we may miss it some of the time, such isn’t because God is withholding. For 1 Peter 1:4 relays the fact that God keeps things for us (from the reach of the thief). What we are to do is put action to faith and refuse to doubt what God has said/says about us. Faith is strengthened by steadfastness on God’s Word in what we think and say and do, enabling the reborn spirit to receive from the Holy Spirit, and allowing the Angels of God to minister on our behalf. Faith exuberantly confesses “GOD said so, therefore I say so . . .”

GOD said so

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.Hebrews 11:1

So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God.Romans 10:17

But without faith it is impossible to please God because they that come to God must believe that He exist, and that He is a rewarder of them who diligently seek Him.Hebrews 11:6

Therefore, I say so

In the Name of Jesus, I decree and declare myself a diligent seeker of the Sovereign Lord God Almighty – my Abba Father by the finished work of Christ Jesus.” (Job 22:28; Hebrews 11:6; Galatians 4:4-6)
