The measure of faith (Romans 12:3) gifted from God the Father to each of us by the redemptive work of Christ Jesus through the power of the Holy Spirit is the foundation by which we manifest the promises of the Father already provided (1 Peter 1:4). Therefore, in the knowing that “nothing is impossible for God” (Luke 1:37; Matthew 19:26), one’s own inability to manifest God’s promises neither reflects on God who sent His only begotten Son that we may have fullness of life (John 10:10b; Romans 5:17), nor is it cliché that we may have what we say. Clarity as to what a son or daughter of God actually believes is evident by the words coming out of their own mouths as well as their behavior. For God who is a Spirit Being calls things that are not as though they were, and as He created us His image (Genesis 1:26-27) we are also speaking spirits. Words are full of power . . . . sticks & stones may break bones and harmful words spoken out of one’s own mouth may indeed hurt.

Quality time spent in the presence of God and in His Word (i.e., reading, meditating, confessing/speaking) on a daily basis will strengthen the measure of faith received at the point of salvation – like unto a gym for the spirit. For He who came as the Word made flesh (John 1:14) said, “In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world John 16:33b (NIV). Howbeit those “in Him” may also BE overcomers. That God’s Word tells us to have the God-kind of faith (Mark 11:22), that the operative power of faith is the God-kind of love (Galatians 5:6), to pray for more than oneself (Matthew 5:44; Ephesians 6:18), and use authority in the Name above all names entrusted (Matthew 18:18; Mark 16:17) is far beyond,  yea eclipses, mere good intention. For those who believe and confess Romans 10:9 are “in Christ” and like unto His essence (John 17:14) because “as He is, so are we in this world1 John 4:17.

  • the Spirit of God is in you
  • the Anointing of God is on you
  • the healing power of God is through you
  • the wisdom of God is being formed in you
  • the peace of God surrounds you
  • the favor of God is upon you, and
  • the love of God (God-kind of love) is being perfected in you

Therefore, we may simultaneously ask/pray the LORD for vengeance and recompense (Romans 12:19; Deuteronomy 32:35; Hebrews 10:30) against the enemy – the adversary – the thief who only comes to steal and kill and destroy, as we bind on earth what is bound in heaven and loose on earth what is loosed in heaven with entrusted authority in the Name above all names (Matthew 18:18; Luke 10:18; Mark 16:17). To the honor and glory and praise of God the Father, with thanksgiving in Jesus’ Name, Amen.
