Dear Sisters and Brothers in Jesus the Christ,

Christ Jesus said, “ . . . true worshipers worship the Father in spirit and in truth . . . God is Spirit, and His worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth.” John 4:23, 24 (NIV). Seek not to please oneself but Abba Father Who sends us to save others. Believers – the sons and daughters of the Most High God are blessed to serve others (read Philippians 2:3-11). Christ Jesus said (that) He came not to please Himself but God the Father Who sent Him (read John 5:30-36). And so it is with each son and daughter of the Most High God; who are called to establish God’s covenant upon this earth. The work assigned to Believers by Christ Jesus to brick God’s Kingdom on earth must shine brightly into every dark place for the glory of God. God’s Word is a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our pathway (Psalm 119:105). Soldiers of the True Light Who is Christ Jesus are to move/walk as vessels of the outpouring. In Jesus’ Name, may our good works be a beacon of light into every dark place; establishing God’s covenant; bringing healing to the sick; binding poverty; and bringing love to the brokenhearted. Amen. When calling remembrance to my prayer of supplication for family and friends, I’ve added (by speaking with some modifications) the prayer that follows.

Copeland’s Prayer of Intercession: “Father, in Jesus’ Name, I pray for the outpouring of Your Spirit upon all flesh. I realize that as I stand in the gap and pray, You will cause the former and the latter rain to come upon all men. I am so grateful to be alive at this tremendous time of history in the Body of Christ and I am willing to do my part to see that You have liberty through by prayers. Show Yourself strong in behalf of Your people and establish Your Word in the earth. Father, I know that in order for You to move effectively by Your Spirit among men, You need yielded vessels, willing to give of themselves and their time to prayer. I want You to know that I am willing, Father. I yield myself to You. Use me to birth new citizens into Your kingdom, to bring healing to the sick, to cause finances to come to those in need and to bring Your compassionate love to the brokenhearted. I will stand in the gap. I will make up the hedge, so men, women and children will have the opportunity to come to the knowledge of the Truth. They will recover themselves out of the snare of the devil and walk in the light of Your Word, discovering daily the riches of the glory of their inheritance in the saints. Father, thank You for revealing to me, in a personal way, the value of prayer and the important part I have in bringing the outpouring of Your mighty Spirit and ultimately the return of our coming King—Jesus our Lord! In Jesus’ Name. Amen. Even so, Lord come quickly!”

Speak the promise . . . Harriet
