The Word of God tells us that humans are either in the kingdom of light or in the kingdom of darkness on this side of heaven; we aren’t awaiting transition to become a kingdom citizen. Those reconciled unto the Family of God by the redemptive work of Christ Jesus are present-day citizens of God’s kingdom of light.

  • [The Father] has delivered and drawn us to Himself out of the control and the dominion of darkness and has transferred us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, In Whom we have our redemption through His blood, [which means] the forgiveness of our sins.Colossians 1:1-14 (AMP).
  • But we are citizens of the state (commonwealth, homeland) which is in heaven, and from it also we earnestly and patiently await [the coming of] the Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah) [as] Savior, Who will transform and fashion anew the body of our humiliation to conform to and be like the body of His glory and majesty, by exerting that power which enables Him even to subject everything to Himself.Philippians 3:20-21 (AMP)

The Word of God who became flesh – The Living Word said, only those “born again” enter the Kingdom of God:

  • Unless a person submits to this original creation — the ‘wind-hovering-over-the-water’ creation, the invisible moving the visible, a baptism into a new life — it’s not possible to enter God’s kingdom. When you look at a baby, it’s just that; a body you can look at and touch. But the person who takes shape within is formed by something you can’t see and touch — the Spirit — and becomes a living spirit.John 3:5-6 (MSG)

In verse 19 of Psalm 119, the writer makes reference to being a stranger on earth in need of guidance or direction from the LORD God which is usually referred to as a commandment. Yet, as the One who is Omniscient and Omnipresent and Omnipotent never interferes with free-will, such may also be referred to as very strong advice or sound instruction. Howbeit, there are those who are “born again” (saved by the Blood and in God’s kingdom of light) who give evidence of receiving no or little instruction from the LORD God by way of the Holy Spirit whose Ministry is now in the earth. Such may be through their own intentional use of free-will or via deception because the devil is crafty.

Therefore, though the spirit is re-created at the precise moment of belief & confession of YESHUA/JESUS as Savior & Lord and all “born again” are bestowed the Holy Spirit, transformation of the soul (i.e., intellect, will, emotion) is ongoing in the Word of God by the Teaching of the Holy Spirit on a daily basis. Sons & daughters of God develop the measure of faith as well as the God-kind of love poured into our hearts by which faith works. Thereby, the promises of God already bestowed by the finished work of Christ Jesus are made manifest to establish God’s covenant on Earth as it is in Heaven.  (John 1:14; Romans 10:9; Acts 2:38; Romans 12:3; Romans 5:5; Galatians 5:6; 1Pe 1:4.)
