Scripture relays the fact that YHWH (with inserted vowels YAHWEH transliterated JEHOVAH commonly interpreted the LORD) calls forth the lost to Him through YESHUA/JESUS. The LORD God calls on the laborers to bring in the harvest; such pertains to various aspects of evangelism but not all receive the ministry gift/calling of an Evangelist. For example, my five-fold ministry gift isn’t that of an Evangelist, yet there are aspects of evangelism through this cross-key.com ministry. The Word of God describes those reconciled unto the Family of God by the finished work of Christ Jesus as “laborers” in terms of bringing in the harvest. According to John 6:44, John 14:6, 1 Corinthians 1:9 and Colossians 1:13, the LORD God draws and attracts to the Lord Jesus. The Living Word said,  

  • “The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.” Matthew 9:37-38 (NKJV)
  • “The harvest truly is great, but the laborers are few; therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.” Luke 10:2 (NKJV)
  • “Jesus said unto them, My food (nourishment) is to do the will (pleasure) of Him Who sent Me and to accomplish and completely finish His work. Do you not say, It is still four months until harvest time comes? Look! I tell you, raise your eyes and observe the fields and see how they are already white for harvesting.” John 4:34-35 (AMP)

The Living Word spoke of His Father (Who He made Our Father by His redemptive work) “Lord of the harvest”, and the Lord Jesus is the “Redeemer”, and partakers of this New Testament or New Covenant between the LORD God and humankind ratified by the blood of Jesus have a part. The LORD God calls, and the Lord Jesus saves, and partakers of this blood bought and brought covenant “labor” to bring in the LORD God’s harvest; it’s neither an individual’s nor a denomination’s harvest. For the LORD God calls out of the dominion of darkness and into the Kingdom of His only begotten Son (Colossians 1:13). The One Who is Omniscient knows who’ll answer affirmatively, and who’ll remain steadfast. For example, although they were twins, the LORD knew that Esau wouldn’t go the distance whereas Jacob (whose name was later changed to Israel) would. Such doesn’t imply that the saved or reborn won’t make mistakes but that they don’t remain therein. In other words, when they fall, they get up by the power of the LORD God, and repent which necessarily involves change. For the saved or reborn are enabled by the power of God within through the person of the Holy Spirit.  

The Lord Jesus knew Who He was and Whose He was; such discernment and/or revelation is significant to all “in Christ” because the devil is clever as well as relentless about the fiery darts and snares set against those who’ve left his kingdom of darkness and have entered God’s Kingdom of Light. That is, satan is intent on taking as many into the pit of hell with him; especially those recognizable by the Spirit of God with Whom the saved or reborn are sealed. Howbeit the weapons of God prevail:  

  • “for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds,” 2Co 10:4 (WEB)
  • “We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called to his purpose. For whom he foreknew, he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers. Whom he predestined, those he also called. Whom he called, those he also justified. Whom he justified, those he also glorified.” Romans 8:28-34 (WEB)

Hallelujah! This was and/or is the mystery of the LORD God’s plan from the onset; and Jesus the Anointed One and His Anointing – The Sent One walked it all out in perfect obedience to the will of God on behalf of all mankind. GOD is LOVE.
