Dear Sisters and Brothers in Jesus the Christ,

Recently, while reading, meditating, and confessing/speaking the amplified version of Deuteronomy 28:1-14, the words that were repeatedly stated: “The LORD will”, “And the LORD will”, and “The LORD shall” stood out. As revealed by the Holy Spirit to the prophet Moses, “if you will do . . . I will do . . .” points to the inherit ability of those chosen by God to manifest the things which God has (already) bestowed. Under the Old Covenant (Old Testament), the chosen ones were descendants of one of Noah’s three sons whose name was Shem. Of this line of people who are Semites, came the birth of Abram whom the LORD would later “call” and rename Abraham, and his wife renamed Sarah. God’s desire for the Semites was to be a “kingdom of priests and a holy nation” to which they first agreed; yet shortly thereafter decided against a direct relationship with God preferring an intermediary. As a result, under the Old Covenant, the chosen ones could neither enter the Most Holy Place nor speak directly to God. Christ Jesus mediated a New Covenant (New Testament) through the sacrifice of His sinless lifeblood for all mankind; and those who freely receive Jesus the Anointed One are rendered the elect or the chosen ones or sons & daughters of the Most High God. As it is written, “for You were killed, and Your blood has redeemed us to God out of every tribe and language and people and nation; and has made us kings and priestsRevelation 5:9-10 (mixed versions). The Lord Jesus said, “I am the good shepherd; I know My sheep and My sheep know Me — just as the Father knows Me and I know the Father — and I lay down My life for the sheep. I have other sheep that are not of this fold; them also I must bring. They too will listen to my voice, and there shall be one flock and one shepherdJohn 10:14-16 (NKJV & NIV). Apostle Paul referred to this as having been “grafted” in. The difference is that this day we may speak to God the Father directly because of the blood of Jesus. By the grace of God the Father, the gift of redemption, re-creation or regeneration (of the spirit man), reconciliation (unto the family of God), and restoration (of every right and privilege as sons & daughters of God) by the finished work of God the Son, also comes the indwelling of God the Holy Spirit. (And) it is by the power of the Holy Spirit that we are enabled to carry-out our God given assignment(s) which necessarily involves “ministration, operation, and manifestation” (Smith Wigglesworth) of the things of God to establish God’s covenant on earth as it is in Heaven. Although a significant number of Christians “settle” for far less, it isn’t possible to limit the Sovereign LORD God Almighty. The importance of manifesting the things of God is that it moves beyond you and I; that we who receive what God has already provided or bestowed or given to us through Christ Jesus are, in turn, enabled to give . . . yea, pour out for the benefit of others. These are they who are blessed to be a blessing, passing-it-forward on a very tangibly profound and magnanimous level; not for the puffing-up of man but to the glory of God. (Gen 11:10-31, 17:5 & 15; Ex 19:6 & 8, 20:19; Hebrews 12:24; Galatians 3:14; Heb 10:20 [NLT]; Ro 11:17-27; Revelation 5:12 [KJV].)

Speak the promise . . . Harriet
