Dear Sisters and Brothers in Jesus the Christ,
Those “in Christ” are enabled to BE an overcomer; and we that comprise the body of Christ who is the head, need each other. Personally, however, I tend toward self-reliance to avoid as much disappointment as possible from others relative to basic matters. Therefore, while reading a partner letter received from a Major General of the faith that reminded to apply Matthew 18:18, a spirit of sadness and resentment attempted to visit as I prefer to ask the LORD God directly. In other words, I know how to pray. Immediately, the Holy Spirit reminded me of the success experienced when I had less than a month to sell my home (due to a married couple’s attempt to stall its sale). Though I knew to ask the same person who agreed with me previously, I didn’t contact that person at first. Rather, I contacted two others for reasons specific to them with full confidence that both would respond. Then while awaiting their response the original person was contacted. Imagine my surprise at the response or lack thereof of the first two people. Oh! but the third person zoomed in straightaway and set a time (during which we also had a good time laughing about it); and the results thereof have already begun to manifest. Praise God!
Judgement which belongs to God is different from the ability to recognize the way of God exemplified by Jesus the Anointed One and His Anointing. For God the Father has called us out of the dominion of darkness and into the Kingdom of His only begotten Son in whom we have redemption – the obliteration of sins by the blood of Jesus (read – Colossians 1:13-14). The empowerment of the redeemed and reborn and reconciled unto YHWH (with inserted vowels YAHWEH transliterated JEHOVAH commonly interpreted the LORD) through YESHUA/JESUS whose Resurrection and Ascension returned the Ministry of the Holy Spirit whose Teaching reveals the information in the Word of God. For the blood of Jesus bought and brought redemption for the instantaneous rebirth of the spirit whereas the soul (i.e., intellect, will, emotions) is renewed day by day. Therefore,
- “Do not be conformed to this world (this age), [fashioned after and adapted to its external, superficial customs], but be transformed (changed) by the [entire] renewal of your mind [by its new ideals and its new attitude], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God, even the thing which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His sight for you].” Romans 12:2 (AMPC)
“GOD is LOVE” Who gave His only begotten Son because He so loved the world; and the more familiar with the essence or character of LOVE facilitates our ability to speak and do in the way of LOVE (read – 1Jn 4:8-16; John 3:16 & 14:12; Mark 16:15-18).
