Though it is true that YHWH (with inserted vowels YAHWEH transliterated JEHOVAH commonly interpreted the LORD) can work anything through anyone, such is contingent or reliant or subject to obeisance to the LORD God and His way of being and doing. That is, listening and adhering to the LORD God’s guidelines which necessitates familiarity with the likeness and the way of LOVE who is GOD. Howbeit vital to elucidate the fact and the truth that the One and only human to ever walk in perfect obedience to the LORD God on behalf of all humankind is YESHUA/JESUS – the only begotten Son of God – Jesus the Anointed One and His Anointing – The Messiah – The Living Word/The Word of God made flesh – Emmanuel – The Great Intercessor – The Advocate – the sent One – Christ Jesus, embodiment of the five-fold Ministry: Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Pastor, and Teacher. (And) before any attempt to dismiss the Lord Jesus ability because the Holy Seed of God was born sans sin, we may know through the revelatory Teaching of the Holy Spirit that to BE the Living Word requires adherence to God’s Word. Hence, during the Lord Jesus’ Ministry, He often referred to Himself as the “Son of Man” (read – Matthew 8:20; 12:8; 16:27; 19:28; 20:18, 19; 24:27, 44; 25:31; 26:2,45,64. Mark 8:31, 38; 9:9; 10:45; 14:41. Luke 6:22; 7:33, 34; 12:8; 17:22; 18:8, 31; 19:10; 21:36. John 1:51; 3:13, 14; 6:27, 53; 12:23, 34.).1  The significance of this particular title is due to the fact and the truth that His Father, Who became Father to all “in Christ” through the redemptive work of Christ Jesus, gave dominion & authority to mankind:

  • Then God said, Let Us make man in Our image, according to our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth. So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.  Then God blessed them, and God said to them, ‘Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.’ Genesis 1:26-28 (NKJV)
  • For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways, says the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways, And My thoughts higher than your thoughts.  For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven, And do not return there, But water the earth, and make it bring forth and bud, That it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater,  So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; it shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.Isaiah 55:8-11 (NKJV)

The LORD God said so, therefore Jesus – the Living Word says so. For the Lord Jesus only spoke and did as He heard of His Father (read – John 5:19; 8:26b, 28, 38; 12:49-50; 14:10,24b); and those “in Christ” are to speak like Him. The Lord Jesus, also referred to as the last Adam, was sent to repair the breach (so to speak) initiated by the disobedience of the first Adam; seemingly harmless rebellion by the rejection of God’s guidance via free-will decision(s) that negatively impacts far more than oneself:

  1. The LORD God told the first Adam, “you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat of it you will surely die.Genesis 2:17 (NIV) Eve was tricked whereas the LORD advised the first Adam who chose to eat thereof. (read Genesis 3:1-6.)
  1. The LORD God told King Solomon, that if he walked in integrity, observing God’s decrees, his throne would be established forever; but if he turned away to other gods, the nation would be cut off. (And) though the nation was forewarned that intermarriage with unbelievers would surely turn one’s heart to worship idols, Solomon chose to have 700 wives and 300 concubines who caused him to worship their idols. (read 1 Kings 11:1-3.)
  1. The LORD God spoke through the Prophet Ahijah to Jeroboam who became king over ten of the tribes and was told that if Jeroboam walked in the way of God and did what is right in God’s sight, He would be with him. But Jeroboam, in fear (as opposed to faith) that the people would revert to the house of David when they traveled back to the temple in Jerusalem, made two golden calves – idols for the people to worship. Thereby causing the entire nation to sin. (read 1 Kings 11:29-39 & 1 Kings 12:25-30).

These three illustrate that good success in “leadership” is contingent or reliant or subject to obeisance to the LORD God and in His way of being and doing. More specifically, listening and adhering to the LORD’s guidelines or (always good) advice which involves familiarity with the likeness and the way of LOVE who is GOD. Both believing in God as well as believing God requires faith operated by divine love. The first Adam failed in his faith (belief) in what the LORD God told him, so too King Solomon and King Jeroboam. However, regardless of what was seen in the natural realm, Noah, Shem, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, Moses, Joshua, Rahab, Deborah, Samuel, Naomi, David, Elijah, Mary, and JESUS exercised faith (belief) in God’s Word; so too those “in Christ”. May there forever BE increase in the God-kind of faith (Mark 11:22-24).
