Those reconciled unto God the Father by the Blood have a covenant with Him that is operated by faith; this covenant commands us to walk by faith which is the opposite of fear. Repeated occurrence in the Word of God in regard to the “fear of the LORD” refers to a reverential respect for Him Who is Sovereign, Omnipotent, Omniscient, and Omnipresent. Hence, there is little to no wonder that when the Sovereign Lord God Almighty created man in His image (Genesis 1:26-27), the Angels were astonished and wondered: “What is man and woman that you bother with them; why take a second look their way?” Hebrews 2:6 (MSG). We serve a God Who is merciful, gracious, patient, abounding in love, ever faithful, and forgiving (Exodus 34:6-7); so pure and true that sin can’t exist in His presence. We serve a God Who goes to great lengths in explaining “how to” operate in The Blessing which contains many blessings (Deuteronomy 28:1-14).

More specifically, the “how to” is through: (a) the Written Word by revelation of the Holy Spirit to the Prophets of the Old Testament/Old Covenant, (b) the Living Word who is Christ Jesus – the Revealer and Mediator of the New Testament/New Covenant, and (c) the Living Water who is the Holy Spirit – Comforter, Counselor, Teacher, and Covenant Enforcer. We serve a GOD who established a covenant partnership with man and stood by it from Adam to Noah to Abraham to Isaac to Jacob to Joseph to Moses to Joshua to Samuel to David to Jesus the Anointed One by Whose blood the superior new covenant was ratified. I am grateful that GOD takes far more than a second look our way and, in Jesus’ name, I give thanks that He is ever mindful of us and looking after us.

The months of recent campaigning in the great United States of America perpetuated ugliness to such a degree that 46.9% didn’t vote. Also a significant number who did vote are disillusioned to the point of fear which is the antithesis of faith. That GOD is Omniscient necessarily means the results of this particular election process didn’t take Him by surprise. GOD has His hand on this and none can stop the hand of the LORD (Isaiah 14:27). Whether those reconciled unto the Father by the Blood voted for or against the individual who will assume the highest office in this great country, all of us are to put on the whole armor of God daily and stand in the Ministry of Authority bestowed by the finished work of Christ Jesus. Pick it up, put it on, and stand victorious to the honor, praise and glory of GOD whose angels are assigned to each of us as the heirs of salvation (Hebrews 1:14; 2 Thessalonians 3:3 [NKJV]; Psalms 91:11, 34:7 [NLT], 118:6-7).
