Often people ask for prayer after a fact but prayer before is surely “best practice” because as 1 Peter 5:8 relays, the devil prowls. God the Father sent His only begotten Son who walked in perfect obedience to His will for all mankind. Now, those who believe and confess YESHUA/JESUS may fully partake of His victory over the tricks of the evil one. The redemptive work of Christ Jesus fixed it that those “in Him” may pray protection in advance by unwavering faith (Mark 11:24). The blood of Jesus fixed it that we may pray the victory in advance, cast down all whispered thoughts (2Co 10:5), bind and loose (Matthew 18:18) with authority in the Name above all names (Luke 10:19; Mark 16:17) anything contrary to the Blood ratified will of YHWH (with inserted vowels YAHWEH, transliterated JEHOVAH, commonly interpreted the LORD).

Hence, a significant number of Churches utilize Prayer Warriors or Prayer Leaders in advance because they confidently send their “supply” into situations in which they don’t have to be physically present. Both Ephesians 6:18 as well as 1 Timothy 2:1-2 advise us to pray various prayers for various reasons (i.e., self, family, neighborhood, workplace, government leaders, country, nations). For the devil and his cohorts are manipulative whereas the LORD God never goes against the free-will of man. That is, God requires and/or desires our personal invitation. The devil and his cohorts come unannounced and uninvited. Nevertheless, nothing is impossible for God with Whom we were reconciled by the finished or redemptive work of Christ Jesus.

In faith, the Lord Jesus paid the full price by His own blood which gifted the measure of faith powered by the God-kind of love bestowed to each of us at the onset of salvation (Acts 2:21; Ro 10:9-10; Ro 12:3c; Ro 5:5; Galatians 5:6) which diligence in God’s Word and prayer matures. Hence, we confess/speak that “we believe we receive” in keeping with God’s way and His will (1Jn 5:14-15). Yahweh Sabaoth/Jehovah Sabaoth – God of the Angel Armies, sends His ministering spirits and/or Angels on our behalf.

  • But the LORD is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one.2 Thessalonians 3:3 (NKJV)
  • . . . 11 He commands His angels concerning me to guard me in all my ways; 12 they lift me up in their hands so that I do not strike my foot against a stone. . . . 14 Because (she) loves Me, says the LORD I protect (her) for (she) acknowledges My Name.  15 (She) calls upon Me, and I answer (her); I Am with (her) in trouble, I deliver (her) and honor (her).  16 With long life I satisfy (her), and show (her) My salvation. Psalm 91:11-16 (KJV, NKJV, NIV, NLT [combined & personalized])
