for by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, that no one would boast. Ephesians 2:8-9 (WEB)

God saved you by his special favor when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God.  Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it.Ephesians 2:8-9 (NLT)

All good things are always to the honor and glory and praise of YHWH (with inserted vowels YAHWEH transliterated JEHOVAH commonly interpreted the LORD), with thanksgiving in the Name of His only begotten Son – YESHUA/JESUS. For the light that facilitates faith undergirded by love is bestowed by the grace and compassionate love of the LORD God through the mystery of His plan revealed in Jesus the Anointed One and His Anointing – the Holy Seed sent of the LORD God and received by faith – the life giving light of the world – the Word of the LORD God that always accomplishes everything for which it is sent. The WORD made flesh walked in perfect obedience to the will of God the Father on behalf of all mankind. That His Father might (free-will) also become our Abba Father by His grace and our own faith.

Salvation is of the redemption which brings re-creation that reconciles unto the LORD God with every right and privilege as sons & daughters of God fully restored by faith in the finished work of Christ Jesus. For those who repent, believe and confess the Lord Jesus are rendered right or just in the sight of God the Father Who sees those “in Christ” just like He sees Christ – spotless without a fault. Such bespeaks the reborn spirit initially created in the image of the LORD God who is Spirit; not the physical body nor the soul (i.e., intellect, will, emotions) that requires ongoing renewal by the Teaching of the Holy Spirit in the Word of God. “For the Word that God speaks is alive and full of power [making it active, operative, energizing, and effective]; it is sharper than any two-edged sword, penetrating to the dividing line of the breath of life (soul) and [the immortal] spirit, and of joints and marrow [of the deepest parts of our nature], exposing and analyzing and judging the very thoughts and purposes of the heartHebrews 4:12 (AMP). The Word of God for comprehension & application.
