Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ Jesus,

  •  Promise – to pledge or give assurance
  •  Covenant – agreement or promise between two or more parties
  • Redemption – deliverance from the law of sin and death by the established law of the Spirit of life through Christ Jesus
  • Blessing – divine favor
  • Heir – one who inherits or is entitled to

As it is written, the promises of God the Father bequeathed through the finished work of Christ Jesus are yes to which we say amen (2 Corinthians 1:20). This day, on this side of Heaven, we have been made heirs of God the Father and co-heirs with our Elder Brother – the Lord Jesus (Romans 8:17). Every redemptive blessing inherit in the covenant between God and man (i.e., male, female) ratified by the blood of Jesus, and the current ministry of the Holy Spirit (the power of God within each of us) for the manifestations thereof, is blood bought by Jesus and brought by the grace and faithfulness of Abba Father. It’s not what we did, it’s what God the Father set in motion – God’s plan for the redemption of all mankind just because of love (John 3:16). Nevertheless, every son and daughter of God has a part to play in regard to the manifested promises bequeathed via the covenant between Abba Father and His children. (Perhaps needless to say) none can know what is bequeathed sans reading a Last Will & Testament; and the Bible delineates God’s Will for our lives. Consequently, a significant number of sons and daughters of God who haven’t read it for themselves and/or are satisfied with a few minutes of spoon-feeding once or twice a week, have been conned out of their inheritance by the thief who comes to “steal, kill, and destroyJohn 10:10. Notice the first word is “steal” because the enemy comes to steal the Word of God before enough revelation by swallowing (i.e., reading, meditating, muttering, speaking) what doth sayeth the LORD. God is not dead, the resurrected Jesus is seated at the right hand of the Father, and the present day ministry of the Holy Spirit on earth is for our benefit (John 16:13; Acts 1:8; Galatians 3:14). The Godhead is alive; so too God’s Word is alive and full of power which must be activated (comprehension & application). A significant number of Believers allow unbelievers (and unfortunately even those who choose to believe parts or some of the WORD) to convince that circumstances or a situation reflects that the things of God aren’t  really for them; such is a lie instigated by the father of lies. God’s Word is Truth (John 17:17), Christ Jesus – the Living Word is the truth & life (John 14:6), and the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Truth (John 16:13). The fact of the matter is those of the Family of God must decide for themselves whether they are going to believe God regardless of what it looks like in the natural realm. Faith which works or is operated or is powered by love is a force that is backed by God’s power. (And) the present day ministry of the Holy Spirit is as Comforter, Counselor and Teacher, Who reminds us of all things Jesus; that which the Father sent Jesus to do (John 9:4) and which Jesus did in perfect obedience. For Jesus said that He came to do the work of the Father (Hebrews 10:7;Psalm 40:6-8). Therefore, during His three and a half years of ministry on earth, Jesus the Anointed One and His Anointing only did and said as He saw and heard of the Father (John 5:19, 8:26b, 28, 38, 12:49-50, 14:10). Even as Jesus agonized in the Garden of Gethsemane He prayed, “. . . not as I will, but as You willMatthew 26:39 (NKJV). Abba Father never forces His will on anyone, it takes self-initiative from a personal desire to spend quality time with the LORD, read the Bible, and seek the Teaching of the Holy Spirit for revelation about the information therein in order to be clear about decisions to forfeit whatsoever rightfully belongs to one’s household, and their children’s children (Proverbs 13:22). By revelation of 1 Peter 1:4 it is discerned that God doesn’t hide anything from us but has hidden things for us (and out of the reach of the thief). It is of the utmost importance to read the Bible to know God’s always good will for His children. Develop a one-to-one relationship with Abba Father through Christ Jesus to become aware of the characteristics of God who is Love.

 Speak the promise . . . Harriet
