Dear Sisters and Brothers in Jesus the Christ,

23 . . . I still belong to you; you are holding my right hand. You will keep on guiding me with your counsel, leading me to a glorious destiny. Whom have I in heaven but you? I desire you more than anything on earth. . . . . . 28 how good it is to be near God! I have made the Sovereign LORD my shelter, and I will tell everyone about the wonderful things you do.Psalm 73:23-28 (NLT)

Each time I read (via social media, etc.) a denouncement of the Prince of peace I am saddened, especially when such a denial is by those who’ve known and previously accepted Christ Jesus. Although I pray for them, I’m saddened nonetheless, sometimes to the point of tears, due to the slippery slope on which they tread. It is a dangerous slope because the WORD reveals that there is a sin from which there is no repentance. Those rendered sons and daughters of GOD by the redemptive work of Christ Jesus are encouraged to pray on every occasion with all kinds of prayers and requests (Ephesians 6:18). Yet, there is a sin that we aren’t asked to pray about (1 John 5:16-17); such pertains to those who’ve turned their backs on Him Who they once knew (Hebrews 6:4-6). The Gospel or Good News of God is about Jesus the Anointed One who was promised in advance through the written WORD as well as verbally relayed by the prophets. “4 And [as to His divine nature] according to the Spirit of holiness was openly designated the Son of God in power [in a striking, triumphant and miraculous manner] by His resurrection from the dead . . . 5 It is through Him that we have received grace (God’s unmerited favor) . . . to tell all nations what God has done for them, so that they will believe and obey Him, bringing glory to His name. 6 And this includes you, called of Jesus Christ and invited [as you are] to belong to HimRo 1:4-6 (AMP & NKJV & NLT combined). To denounce the truth via a boldface lie is the nature of the father of lies (John 8:44), and reminds me of those who deny that the holocaust ever occurred even in the face of its survivors. There is a difference, however, between those who haven’t received the Lord Jesus and those who were of the Body of Christ because the latter were enlightened partakers of the Holy Spirit who’ve consciously turned their backs on Him. Nevertheless, Love who is God created man in His own image with free-will to choose between life and prosperity or death and destruction (Genesis 1:27; Deuteronomy 30:15). God who is Love desires we choose that for which the Lord Jesus came – that we might (free-will) have abundant life to the full ‘til it overflows (John 10:10b). That the Word of God who is Love has been categorized by another country as hate speech is the modus operandi (M.O.) of the father of lies: “Did God really say . . .? Genesis 3:1 (NIV). The Word of God is a lamp, and revelation of the information thereof by the Teaching of the Holy Spirit is necessary to manifest whatsoever is in keeping with His will (Psalm 119:105; 1Jn 5:14-15). “And the Word (Christ) became flesh (human, incarnate) and tabernacled (fixed His tent of flesh, lived awhile) among usJohn 1:14 (AMP); He is the Living Word.

Speak the promise . . . Harriet
