Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ Jesus,

For God has reserved a priceless inheritance for His children. It is kept in heaven for you, pure and undefiled, beyond the reach of change and decay.”  1 Peter 1:4 (NLT)

Our priceless inheritance is pure and undefiled because it’s kept for those rendered sons & daughters of God the Father by the redemptive work of Christ Jesus, it’s not kept from us. Rather, it’s kept from or out of the reach of the devil. Our inheritance consisting of a plethora of gifts was bestowed at the new birth by the blood of Jesus. For the only Omniscient LORD God knows each of us better than we know ourselves, and provides for every need (Philippians 4:19). However, the Sovereign Lord God Almighty never impedes on the free-will of mankind – whose spirit and soul (i.e., intellect, will, emotion) were initially created in His image (Genesis 1:26-27). The first Adam’s use of free-will in disobedience to God by going along with his wife (Genesis 3:6) who was deceived, ushered-in sin, the works of the devil. For every malady is of the devil, just as malevolence and malfeasance are of demonic activity that manipulate people to do the ungodly. Although Eve was deceived, the first Adam wasn’t because instruction was given directly to him (Genesis 2:16-17).

The full potential of every human is achieved by adherence to God’s always good instructions. Several years ago, during a Sunday School Class at a previous church in which I was a member, one of our two teachers asked with sincerity: “Does anyone still follow the Ten Commandments?” Insinuation being that such was obsolete, neither required nor necessary (which in and of itself is a good example of why 2 Timothy 2:15 states, “Study to show thyself approved . . . rightly dividing the Word). The fact is, a command is God’s instructions; neither does the Omniscient One ask for the opinion of whom He created. As the Holy Spirit led the Prophet Isaiah to write: “You turn things upside down, as if the potter were thought to be the clay!Isaiah 29:16 (NIV); and again Yet, O LORD, you are our Father. We are the clay, you are the potter; we are all the work of your handIsaiah 64:8 (NIV)

7 If I announce that a certain nation or kingdom is to be uprooted, torn down, and destroyed,  8 but then that nation renounces its evil ways,, I will not destroy it as I had planned.  9 And if I announce that I will build up and plant a certain nation or kingdom, making it strong and great,  10 but then that nation turns to evil and refuses to obey me, I will not bless that nation as I said I would.Jeremiah 18:7-10 (NLT)

Therefore, we pray for our nation even as we pray for the outpouring of the Spirit upon all flesh. Thanks be to YHWH (with inserted vowels YAHWEH transliterated JEHOVAH commonly interpreted the LORD) Who sent YESHUA/JESUS to destroy all the works of the devil. Thanks be To the Lord Jesus, Who setting His deity aside was perfected through complete obedience to the Father; He set His face like flint to accomplish His assignment on behalf of all mankind in perfect obedience to the will of God (Romans 5:17-19). Regardless of how people talked to Him or treated Him, the Lord Jesus only spoke and did in the way of the Father (John 5:19 & 8:26b,28,38 & 12:49-50 & 14:10,24b).

7 In the days of His flesh [Jesus] offered up definite, specific petitions [for that which He not only wanted but needed] and supplications with strong crying and tears to Him Who was [always] able to save Him [out] from death, and He was heard because of His reverence toward God [His godly fear, His piety, in that He shrank from the horrors of separation from the bright presence of the Father].  8 Although He was a Son, He learned [active, special] obedience through what He suffered.  9 And, [His completed experience] making Him perfectly [equipped], He became the Author and Source of eternal salvation to all those who give heed and obey Him, [Isa. 45:17.]  10 Being designated and recognized and saluted by God as High Priest after the order (with the rank) of Melchizedek. [Ps. 110:4]Hebrews 5:7-10 (AMP).

In perfect obedience to the will of God the Father on behalf of all mankind, Christ Jesus sacrificed His spotless lifeblood that all who believe and confess Him may (free-will) receive the new birth or a re-created spirit (Romans 10:9); and ongoing transformation of the mind by the renewal of the soul (i.e., intellect, will, emotion) in God’s Word through the Teaching of the Holy Spirit. Now (this day), all “in Christ” are heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ (Romans 8:17) with access by faith to their inheritance, and for the effective application of the authority in the Name above all names. “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purposeRomans 8:28 (NKJV). Such includes: The Name above all names; The Blood of JESUS; The whole armor of God (belt of truth, breastplate of righteousness, gospel of peace, shield of faith, helmet of salvation, the Word of God – the sword, the lance of prayer [prayer in the Spirit, prayer of faith, prayer of agreement, prayer of intercession, prayer of supplication], the gifts of the Spirit, the power weapons of God, Anointing Oil, Holy Sacrament, Exaltation, Angels of God, forgiveness, Hesed or the God-kind of love. The comprehension and application of God’s Word equips us for the pulling down of strongholds (2 Corinthians 10:4). For there is nothing more powerful than God’s Word. The Omniscient and Omnipresent and Omnipotent One is able to make all grace – every favor and earthly blessing come to each of us in abundance (2 Corinthians 9:8). The Blessing of Abraham (material) and the fullness thereof (material + spiritual/authority) by the redemptive work of Christ Jesus enables each “in Him” to BE a blessing.

Speak the promise . . . Harriet
