The redemptive work of Christ Jesus bestowed far more than “fire insurance”. For there is nothing more powerful than the Word of God that renders supernatural ability unto those “in Christ”; every word out of the mouth of YAHWEH/JEHOVAH accomplishes everything for which it is sent (Isaiah 55:11).  The devil is relentless in crafty attempts at usurping power; and as every seed produces after its own kind, the devil’s intent from the onset was to destroy The Seed through:  

• the first Adam’s use of free-will which rendered him the first “dead man walking” by his own transgression that moved all humankind thereafter from eternal life to eternal death (Genesis 2:16 – 3:6).  

• the first murder by Cain of his brother Abel (Genesis 4:1-8).  

• the plan agreed to by ten tribal brothers to kill their brother Joseph, who’s eventual “economic plan” made him second only to Pharoah and saved a significant number from starvation including his brothers (Genesis 37:18-23).  

• the attempt of Pharaoh to eliminate by killing all Hebrew baby boys (Exodus 1:15-22).  

• the heinous edict of King Herod for the murder of all baby boys in Bethlehem and its vicinity (Matthew 2:13-18).  

• the plot of the religious leaders determined to “crucify the Christ” via a mockery of Justice by one religious group’s secretive hearings at night; and on the following morning the other religious group’s rubber-stamp of the previous hearing that never adhered to procedure (John 11:50-51 & 18:12-24; Mark 14:1; Matthew 26:57-68 & 27:1-2).

But the LORD God is Omnipresent, Omniscient, and Omnipotent; and the mystery of the LORD God’s plan from before the foundation of the world (John 17:3-5,24; 1 Peter 1:20) was The Seed sown for more seeds. That is, the birth of God’s only begotten Son – the last Adam, Whose spotless blood moved all humankind from eternal death to eternal life by the redemption and re-creation and reconciliation of more sons & daughters unto God the Father. The Seed sent of the LORD God was His Word made flesh (John 1:14), the Living Word –YESHUA/JESUS by Whose redemptive work in perfect obedience to the will of God the Father on behalf of humankind, made a plethora of gifts (all the promises of God) fully accessible to all “in Christ”. Such includes prophetic words of supernatural ability as we speak in the way of God with the God-kind of faith (Mark 11:22-24), that’s powered/operated/works by the God-kind of love (Gal 5:6). Therefore, we may decree through faith-filled words in keeping with God’s will as delineated in His Word (1 John 5:14-15). For our own faith connects to the “immeasurable and unlimited and surpassing” power of God (Ephesians 1:19 & 3:20) through the indwelling of the Holy Spirit.
